Together, we will discover your new career with British Cycling

ABOUT US

British Cycling has recently embarked on an exciting new mission to bring the joy of cycling to everyone. We have modernised our commercial and events offering, grounded in social impact and storytelling, harnessing the spotlight and inspiration on Paris 2024 and growing our portfolio of major events as recently seen with the Tour of Britain Women in June 2024 with the men’s race to follow in September 2024. On top of that, we are currently working through our new strategy which will drive us through to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles 2028.

To help make these ambitions a reality, we have an amazing team both at our headquarters at the National Cycling Centre and across the country. We work on a number of exciting projects and initiatives with the aim of advancing and improving our sport, winning medals in the global arena, increasing grassroots participation and promoting the enormous societal impact that cycling can have.

Because cycling is so diverse, our roles reflect that. Whether taking a job based in our offices, within the Great Britain Cycling Team or across the UK in one of our regional teams, you will be joining a group of talented and passionate people who believe in our mission and work hard every day to make it a reality. Working for us, you will find a flexible and inclusive environment that encourages new ideas and ways of thinking and where everyone supports each other to be the best they can be.

Equality & Diversity

You don’t have to be a cyclist to work at British Cycling. We want to ensure that our workforce represents the whole of the UK and we welcome applications from all sections of society. To support this, we ensure that there is equal opportunity within our recruitment and selection process and that our managers are trained to identify and overcome unconscious bias when recruiting and in their day-to-day interactions.

we welcome applications from candidates with disabilities, therefore if you require any reasonable adjustments to support you with the application and interview process, please reach out to the HR Team at humanresources@britishcycling.org.uk nd we will be more than happy to have a conversation with you and see how we can help.

Testimonials

Hear from our employees about their experiences working at British Cycling.

Supportive and Willing

I have worked at British Cycling for a year, and it is my first role in Sport. There has been a lot to learn but I have found everyone to be incredibly supportive and willing to give up their time to help me or point me in the right direction when I need something.

Incredibly Passionate

The passion for what we do as a National Governing Body is tangible. When you come into the office there is a real buzz about the place, and everyone is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about their role and cycling.

Achieve

I already feel like I’ve been here for years and that is certainly my intention. I was incredibly excited when I was offered the role and a year later, I am happy to say I am still excited about the work we do and what we are looking to achieve.
