About Us

Whether it’s winning gold medals at Olympic and Paralympic Games, inspiring millions to get on their bikes, or campaigning on behalf of our 150,000 members, at British Cycling we are leading our sport and inspiring our communities – with an ambitious strategy to build on this in the years ahead.

To help make this ambition a reality, we have a great team of people working throughout the country who, amongst many other varied and exciting projects, put on cycling events across the UK, support our network of cycling clubs, and provide expert coaching to develop cyclists of all levels.

It is our people that make British Cycling what it is, so we take great care in our team selection. We recruit a wide range of highly skilled individuals for a variety of roles across several expert teams in the organisation: Communications, Corporate Services, Education, Facilities, Finance, Great Britain Cycling Team, HR, Marketing, Membership Services & Insight, Partnerships, Recreation, Sponsorship and Sport.

At British Cycling, you can expect to work in an open, inclusive environment with a diverse range of people who come from different backgrounds. Our working culture is based upon inclusivity, positivity, and respect, centred around cycling and how we can work together to promote our sport, from grassroots to elite level, and from the offices in Manchester to our regions around the UK.

Testimonials

Hear from our employees about their experiences working at British Cycling.

Supportive and Willing

I have worked at British Cycling for a year, and it is my first role in Sport. There has been a lot to learn but I have found everyone to be incredibly supportive and willing to give up their time to help me or point me in the right direction when I need something.

Incredibly Passionate

The passion for what we do as a National Governing Body is tangible. When you come into the office there is a real buzz about the place, and everyone is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about their role and cycling.

Achieve

I already feel like I’ve been here for years and that is certainly my intention. I was incredibly excited when I was offered the role and a year later, I am happy to say I am still excited about the work we do and what we are looking to achieve.
