About you
Good education background with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent compensatory experience.,
Experience and interest in project management and/or event delivery.
Relevant knowledge and experience of sports development, including club and/or competition development.
Experience and/or interest in the sport of cycling, in particular BMX Freestyle.
Experience of working collaboratively with an ability to communicate across internal and external stakeholders.
Experience and/or an interest in turning data into compelling stories and case studies.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Ability to work efficiently on own initiative and to maintain a high standard of work under pressure.
What will you be doing?
Leading and co-ordinating key projects linked to the British Cycling BMX Freestyle strategy and discipline plan.
Supporting the development of a growing and thriving network of BMX Freestyle clubs in facilities across the country.
Provide first class logistical support to onboard new clubs and event organisers.
Attending and supporting the delivery of BMX Freestyle events, across participation based showcase events through to National Series Competition.
Working closely with BMX Freestyle facility managers, event organisers & officials and club leads to support the development of the discipline.
Develop effective and modern practices for capturing data linked to BMX Freestyle clubs and events.
Identify opportunities for the discipline to grow the workforce, with a particular focus on new coaches and event officials.
