What will you be doing?
Operate essential central office services including printing and stationery, mail, couriers, office and building maintenance and restocking, security, waste disposal, recycling, in addition to other general office and professional services as required, ensuring that basic supplies and services are always available.
The administration of the organisation’s vehicle fleet and motor insurance databases including driving licence checking, team travel requests, fleet maintenance checks and repairs, fines received, accidents and dealing with short term hire requests. – Collection and distribution of vehicles.
Day-to-day health & safety across multiple sites (National Cycling Centre, Wind Tunnel & Manchester Institute of Health & Performance) duties including coordinating and carrying out individual workplace risk and DSE assessments and acting on the outcomes of these where necessary.
Day-to-day fire and emergency safety including physical checks of the National Cycling Centre and acting as a Fire Warden.
Responsible for the procurement and maintenance of office supplies including invoicing and liaising with couriers for deliveries and collections.
Managing and monitoring the stock of British Cycling clothing and distributing to colleagues as part of the starters/leavers and changes process and when required.
Carry out administrative and project-based tasks as required.
About you
Minimum of Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification and/or compensatory work experience
Experience of working within a busy, diverse, target driven working environment
Evidence of achievement within an internal service / support environment
IT Literate- with working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to be proactive and use own initiative
