About you
Are you a commercially minded accountant with excellent people skills? At British Cycling, our Finance Business Partner will lead budgeting and forecasting, collaborate with budget holders and drive decision-making with insight. Bring your strategic acumen and financial skills to support our world-class programmes.
What will you be doing?
Budget setting, monitoring and reforecasting in partnership with budget holders.
Variance analysis and reporting to senior management on financial performance.
Oversee the monthly management accounts reporting process.
Be the named link for the business queries.
Grant monitoring and compliance.
Make suitable recommendations for the improvement of financial reporting and monitoring.
Enhance reporting capabilities based on budget holder need.
What we’re looking for:
Qualified or part-qualified accountant
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Strong dashboard and Excel capability
Significant experience in a similar level role.
Experience of membership organisations or sport’s governing bodies.
Knowledge of government funding
