What will you be doing?
Drive new membership acquisition across all our audience segments, developing and implementing targeted sales strategies.
Grow our B2B reach by developing affiliate partnerships and reciprocal marketing opportunities with likeminded brands, and by advancing our corporate membership offer through strengthened onboarding, relationship building and promotional support.
Enhance regional impact and grow the number of members within our cycling clubs by increasing support, understanding barriers and needs, developing resources and attending club network events and webinars.
Expand community presence through proactive outreach to bike shops, bike hire facilities, bike parks and other key facilities providing opportunities to reach more cyclists.
Increase retention and win back lapsed members, proactively contacting our existing database to regain the loyalty of previous members, articulating key benefits and value of membership.
Empower our community to advocate on our behalf, develop sales materials, toolkits, and training for internal teams, clubs, and partners to support membership acquisition.
Manage, monitor and report on objectives, and establish a strong feedback loop that enables us to adapt and improve.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
5 years+ proven experience in membership or subscription service sales, partnership management, or business development (B2B and B2C)
Experience developing and managing sales pipelines and lead generation, meeting or exceeding targets
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-led decision making
Excellent communication and presentation skills
A self-starter who can work collaboratively across departments
Desirable:
Experience working in or with sport, membership organisations, or not-for-profits
Familiarity with CRM systems and campaign performance tools
Understanding of the cycling community or broader active lifestyle sector
Personality:
