Together, we will discover your new career with British Cycling
Role Title: Trustee for the British Cycling Foundation
Join the British Cycling Foundation as a Trustee – Help Us Bring the Joy of Cycling to those who need it most
Are you passionate about making a difference in communities across the UK? The British Cycling Foundation is seeking new Trustees to join our Board and help shape the future of our newly established charity. This is a unique opportunity to be part of our journey, guiding our direction and governance as we harness the power of cycling to create a healthier and more connected society where cycling is accessible to all and bikes are used as a catalyst to transform lives for the better.
About the Opportunity
At the British Cycling Foundation, our mission is simple yet powerful: to bring the joy of cycling to those who need it most. Cycling is more than just a sport – it’s a powerful force for change and plays a vital role in addressing some of society’s most pressing challenges – rising health concerns, social isolation, deepening inequalities, poor air quality and urban congestion.
As a Trustee, you’ll join a committed board dedicated to advancing cycling opportunities, promoting community participation, and ensuring the Foundation’s impact aligns with its charitable vision and social impact goals.
We’re looking for individuals who share our passion and commitment, and who bring diverse skills, backgrounds, and lived experiences to our Board. Trustees are asked to commit around two days per month to this voluntary role, making a meaningful contribution to a cause with national reach and community-level impact.
If you’re ready to help us deliver positive social impact and shape the future of cycling in Britain, we’d love to hear from you.
We encourage interested applicants to put in their Expression of Interest as soon as possible as we may close the campaign early should we receive sufficient interest.
